A CAD drawing viewer for 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
ABViewer lets viewing of 2D drawings, raster images and 3D models possible. When your need is to be able to view such 2/3 D drawings and may be just add comments and markups, a viewer like this could be useful. Tying up a full-fledged CAD system for such minimal work will be an expensive proposition. This has some editing capabilities for DWG files and redlining/markup for the other standard files. Those who are familiar with CAD systems, the interface presented by this tool should be simple enough to become familiar quickly. Batch operations are supported. Attractive prices make the software a good solution for everyone! This tool is able to work with CAD formats like DWG, DXF, HPGL, IGES, STEP, etc. as well as document formats like the PDF, raster formats, etc. This software is able to work with layers and blocks and perform editing in the drawings it is able to open.
Dimensions and text style compatible with the drawings it can handle are available. Lines snaps as with those standard drawings. You can add markups, notes and commentary to aid further discussions is enabled. Settings for export of documents are easy to handle. The export formats that could be used include PDF, DWG, DXF, BMP, PLT and others. DWG and DXF file versions can be compared to make out what changes happened between the versions. A XML API makes it easy to define data exported. Batch printing and multi-page printing of the drawings is possible. Batch conversion feature helps save time and effort. LISP is supported to help extend capabilities of the tool. This tool is very good.
